SIlver Cicada Wing Earrings from Sudlow.
Spring Breeze card from ChristineCarol.Giving new life to old plates, buttons, glass, and anything else in my way.
Yeah! I have my camera phone back!! Everyone said that you can't get a dramatic haircut while pregnant because you are hormonal and will hate it, I like my new mommy doo. Also pictured; my first daffodils of spring, Jason giving me the finger while on a conference call as the dog sunbaths in the background, and Bella the Roo making a grand entrance onto the side porch. There...I'm sharing. =)
Because everything looks better in silver! Sleeves and lids for condiments cast in silver by Theo Fennell.
I thought LifeGem was weird...from Nadine Jarvis, "pencils made from the carbon of human remains. 240 pencils can be made from an average body of ash - a lifetime supply of pencils for those left behind." Once you get over the weird factor, it is kinda a romantic idea...Yikes.
Speaking of Nadine Jarivs, I think she helped me figure out what I want done with my ashes. This ceramic urn has a lifespan of 1-3 years. The thread gradually degrades causing the urn to drop, and smash as it hits the ground. I would definitely need a really tacky, 60's floral pattern ceramic urn. My friends and family can make necklaces out of the pieces. Ohh, genius! (sorry, a little morbid...)
What a great shirt from Veer! I want to make one that says "I break plates all day."

I beaded for hours yesterday, I don't even remember doing it. Here are only a few of the finished products. Did I ever tell you that I hate beading? Yeah, I do. Two are up on Etsy.
I just discovered Swedish designer Malin Lundmark via Pan-dan. Her website features some really interesting lamps, like the teacup and jewelry lamp above. Also shown above is a Jewelry Shelf. a wall mounted shelf with a built in cut out for your favorite necklace.
Why can't all shovels be as beautiful? Shovels by Cal Lane can be found at the Foley Gallery in NY. (Via Sean Hennessey)
Because I have been complaining about my lack of ability to snag a Treasury list, PoPkO was nice enough to take picks from my blog to make her list! Now that is some good Etsy karma!!

Sorry for the lack of post yesterday, Jason somehow convinced me that it was "take your girlfriend to work day." It was actually kind of fun; he fed me, I learned how to put ends on phone cords, I witnessed the secret life of warehouses, and collected some random bits of metal for a found object project.
Birds in a Tree Shoulder bag from Black Bags. Great Japanese fabrics!
