Crafters for Critters

I just discovered Crafters for Critters through Funky Finds. This a very cool organization where indie crafters/artists donate items to benefit animal rescue organizations. Right now, profits are going to 2nd Chance At Life who partners retired racing greyhounds with prison inmates, which provides foster homes for dogs that would otherwise be abandoned/discarded/killed, while also allowing inmates to give back to the community and instill a feeling of well-being. I think I need to go shopping now, the holidays are coming sooner then you think!

Guest Blogger Announcement

Greetings BrokenPlate Blog readers. This is Aunt BrokenPlate, here to announce the arrival of the most perfect Nephew.....Baby BrokenPlate. He arrived in the world yesterday at 2:04pm, weighing in at almost 5 pounds and 19 inches long. He is little but very healthy. Baby and Momma are doing well and will be in the hospital for a few days due to c-section. But rest assured she will be back soon with more pictures. In the meantime, happy crafting!!
